Our Solutions

APSA-80™

APSA-80™

APSA-80 is a spray applied in different ways for its different uses.

  • Compaction sprayed post-harvest to pre-plant. Ideally a rain would happen before the planting.

  • Applied with herbicide during burn down- doubles as a compaction agent and a surfactant.

  • Surfactant used with pesticides

  • Should be applied with Nutriplant® AG

Increases water penetration and root depth.

Our proprietary surfactant and adjuvant solution decreases the surface tension of water to help manage water in and on top of soil. Now you can control water for more effective and efficient irrigation, even in compacted soil.

  • Minimizes evaporation and runoff.

  • Provides more uniform spread and coverage of spray herbicides, insecticides and fungicides.

  • Acts as an activator to increase the activity of certain herbicides.

  • For use on growing and harvested crops.

  • Non-corrosive to protect metal pumps, tanks and equipment.

ASPA-80 is our most dynamic product acting as a cost saving Non-Ionic Surfactant, an income producing compaction agent, and a very effective water management tool.

APSA-80 is absolutely a must have for your farming operation. Purdue recently did a study on surfactants and found that APSA-80 was the most cost effective surfactant on the market, both lowing cost per acre and that about 80-90% of normal pesticides need to be used because its effectiveness as a Spreader, Activator, Sticker, Penetrent, and an Emulsifier. Farmers have also seen its effectiveness as a drift agent as well. It also simplifies your farming operation as an all-purpose surfactant to be able to mix with nearly every pesticide.

APSA-80 as a Compaction Agent: Farmers have seen the most significant yield increase from utilizing APSA-80 as a compaction agent. This is because APSA-80 breaks down compacted soils. Soil becomes compacted over time due to heavy farm machinery, flooding, and gravity. This becomes a significant problem when the soil hits 300 psi because roots cannot break through the soil and are forced to grow shallow roots that are more effected by rain, sun and other weather. APSA-80 helps create less resistence for the crop and maximizes yield.

APSA-80 as a water management tool: APSA-80 allows for more water to go to your plant and stay in the soil. It allows for much less run off and pooling of water on the top soil. It does that by breaking down the soil, allowing the water to be able to move throughout the soil much easier. Also, because of this, roots are able to travel more freely throughout the soil profile. Which means your plants get much more of the water they need when they need it while also helping during wet times. APSA-80 also helps a lot with reducing water usage in irrigated farms.

Application

Surfactant:

4 oz/ acre mixed with pesticides

Compaction:

48 oz/ acre will yield max result

Often will do 32 oz/ acre year 1 and maintain 16 oz/ acre thereafter

Can do 24 oz for 2 years to reach 48 oz/ acre or 16 oz/ for 3 years.

Maintain 16 oz/ acre after reaching 48 oz/ acre

Burn Down:

Since APSA-80 is both a surfactant and a compaction agent, it is an effective tool for a burn down, making the herbicide work more effectively and quickly & help break down clumping in the soil

Same application as compaction
